At Bayview Vision Clinic, we believe that personalized care is the key to good eye health. We take the time to get to know our patients and their unique vision needs, so that we can provide the best possible care.
The son of educators, Dr. Davies spent his childhood years calling many places home, moving to different colleges and universities across America. Landing in Washington, Dr. Davies graduated from Olympia High School and The Evergreen State College with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry.
Dr. Davies always knew he wanted to be a physician but was not sure which specialty until he took a position as an optometric technician, cementing his choice to become a Doctor of Optometry. After receiving acceptances from several universities, Dr. Davies chose Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He was accepted into the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometry Honor Society and earned a doctoral degree.
During his training, Dr. Davies worked in diverse clinical internship settings to gain experience treating and managing ocular and systemic diseases, including at the Baltimore VA Medical Center and working with dry eye specialists in Utah.
Before coming to Whidbey Island and Bayview Vision Clinic, Dr. Davies worked as an optometrist in Olympia, WA. He spent time volunteering his services at the Olympia Union Gospel Mission. In his time away from the clinic, Dr. Davies enjoys hiking the numerous trails and beaches of Whidbey Island and spending time with his family.
